The system uses a unique architecture that combines current trends in processor, network, and software technologies to deliver a very high-performance system for large enterprise customers. About This Guide IBM Netezza 1000 Series Site Preparation and Specifications is written for those who need to understand the site requirements and specifications of each IBM Netezza 1000 model. This guide assumes that you understand the capabilities and capacities of the physical space in which you are installing a IBM Netezza 1000 system. The guide describes the hardware components that make up the system, and discusses the following: Preparing a physical location. Maintaining a location. Various IBM Netezza 1000 models.
