Obama fever is alive and well just ask Tracy Rushmere from Shine Shine, whose bright and beautiful aprons sporting the presidents image have been selling like hotcakes at the Nobel Peace Centre in Oslo. Closer to home, Shine Shines Obama fabric (designed by Heidi Chisholm) was used to wrap a shack in Khayelitsha the resulting image is part of a project called Play Jump Eat by Messy Monkey Arts Productions. The owner of the home was more than obliging, says Messy Monkey conceptualist Kelly Vaagsland Wainwright, whose growing series of eclectic, home-grown images includes folk like Desmond Tutu, and housekeepers from the Mount Nelson Hotel jumping on a bed.
