What is the price of a dream?I’ve asked myself this question so many times! Honestly, it used to hold me back. Ten years ago, I wouldn’t have even looked in the direction of modeling, I was a different person with a totally different view of myself. But later on, my wild idea to try modeling and more importantly, styling hit me right when I was planning my move to Barcelona. I’ve been living here for over 3 years now.Starting here was way harder than if I had stayed back home. Back there, I had tons of connections and opportunities, plus way more chances to get experience just by walking into a casting. But I wouldn’t be me if I didn’t choose the hard way, right? I decided to build everything from scratch in a place where nobody knew my name. For me, this was a chance to create a completely new version of myself a fresh start, free from all the old labels I let people put on me in my past life. Here’s the interesting part.I realized that the fastest way to break into the industry as a stylist was actually to get on set as a model first. The competition for stylists is insane. It’s not about your looks, it’s about taste, sourcing skills, creativity, and vibing with the client. Good stylists are rare (there are like 100 times fewer of them than models!). So, I came up with a plan - hit the castings as a model just to meet the stylists. And guess what? It worked perfectly.I landed a few projects as a stylist assistant. And let me tell you - it is very different from being the lead stylist! I had to haul mountains of clothes back and forth, lift heavy bags, dress the models, you name it. But it was worth it. Now I know exactly what kind of assistant I’ll need for my own serious projects in the future. I truly understand all sides of the game now. How to be a model, how to be an assistant, and what I want to create as a stylist.Anyway, that’s my story! I’m always happy to share it, especially if it can inspire or interest even one of you.If you want to chat more about fashion (or literally anything else), slide into my DMs! I’m always down to talk when I’m online. It’s ironic - I get so tired of people at work because there are so many of them, but when it comes to real human connection, I actually feel kind of lonely. That’s why I come here to distract myself. This place saves me a little bit.So, for anyone asking "Why are you here?" Now you know ✨
