Kübra Kegan

In an era defined by Turkey's growing prominence in women's volleyball, Kübra Kegan emerged as a force that completely redefined the setter role in her generation. Born in Ankara on 1995-07-18, she joined youth programs before debuting in Turkish club competition as a teenager. She built her early club career at Tarımspor Ankara and TVF Sport High School, then went on to serve as setter at MKE Ankaragücü (2011-12), Karayolları Ankara (2012-14), Halkbank (2014-15), Eczacıbaşı (2015), Balıkesir B.Şehir (2015-16) and İdmanocağı from 2016 onward.

She earned international spotlight as a youth national team member: she helped Turkey capture the 2011 Girls' Youth European Championship gold and then the 2012 Junior European Championship title. She advanced to senior national duty and continued to compete in Turkey's top divisions.
