Nika Kacharava

Briskly emerging onto the scene, Nika Kacharava was born on 1994-01-13 in Nicosia, Cyprus, to Georgian parents, and later adopted Georgian nationality for his football career. His occupation is that of a professional association football player (forward). His country of main representation is Georgia. He developed through youth systems such as Dinamo Tbilisi and Rubin Kazan before earning his first senior contract with FC Tskhinvali in Georgia. It was during the mid-2010s that he established himself with 25 goals in 41 appearances for Tskhinvali. Subsequently, he moved to Europe via loan spells at Ethnikos Achna (Cyprus) and Korona Kielce (Poland) before signing for Anorthosis Famagusta (Cyprus) in 2018. Kacharava also represented the Georgia U19 and U21 national sides and made 24 appearances for the senior Georgia national team, scoring three goals between 2016 and 2020. Despite his height (1.98 m) and promise, he faced challenges breaking into some first teams (for example at Rostov) and navigating frequent transfers across countries and leagues.
