At the peak of her career she stood tall as the all-time leading goal-scorer for the Newcastle Jets women's team, a club she debuted for as a fresh-faced 15-year-old in the 2009-10 season. However, the challenge was immense: navigating a dual life of elite sport and university studies in engineering. She responded by juggling her football ambitions with an environmental and civil engineering degree at the University of Newcastle.

Flash back to her origins: Born on 1994-03-13 in Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia, she climbed from youth football into the senior ranks. Early on she confronted the obscurity that often shadows young female athletes - limited exposure, modest funding, skeptical observers. She countered by forging her path in the domestic W-League (now A-League Women), making 68 appearances and 27 goals for Newcastle between 2009 and 2016.

In 2014 she sought fresh horizons in the United States with the Colorado Pride in the US W-League 2nd division, where she netted 24 goals in 23 appearances. However, the challenge was same: proving herself on foreign soil and adapting to new styles. She responded with relentless scoring and seizing those minutes. That momentum led to her return home and continued success with Newcastle Jets from 2017 to 2023 (61 caps, 19 goals) before announcing her retirement in March 2023.
