Here is a step-by-step tutorial on how to set up your own queries for Google Alerts! 4. 1.Go towww.Google.com/alerts and log in using your Google ID 5. 2.Under Search terms, enter the queries that you want to keep track of. 6. These can be keywords, your companys name, key employees, relevant products/services, competitors, or anything else you wish! 7. 3.Under Type, specify the matches that you want to send you Alerts. 8. 4.Next, specify How Often you want to be notified. 9. 5.Email Length allows you to select how many results you want in your Alerts. 10. 6.Next, specify How Often you want to be notified.Finally, you specify how you want the Alerts to be sent to you! 11. 7.By hitting the Edit button, you can make changes to your Alerts settings.You can even choose to have Alerts sent as an RSS feed! 12. 8.Check your email!Your Alerts will be waiting for you! 13.
